The beach-tree bird lives year long on the beaches along the Mediterranean Sea. It has extremely weak legs so it usually sits on its butt using its legs for support. It sits on a trees called Hilltrees. Hilltrees have very low branches and big bases, h ence the name Hilltrees. To catch food the bird does a flip so it hangs upside down, then it catches fish with its humongous beak. The Hilltrees grow in water so catching fish is usually no problem since fish is abundant. Because of that beach-tree b irds are usually fat. The males have violet, pink, and yellow tails and crests while the females have blue and green ones.
