Frank is of a rare group of birds called the Colorifciniums. Frank lives in the state of Texas. He has a face full of colors that go streaking back. From his neck on down he is dark green which really shows out when he is in the middle of a sunset or sunrise. Frank is about 4 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 73 pounds. He is a strong bird that often likes to run along roads in southern Texas. Once a police man on duty clocked one of his kind running at 302 miles per hour. At the rate these birds move at it is hard to keep up with them even in a plane. I might add that he has feet that are padded so they won't get torn up running this fast along the rough desert ground. Frank could fly yet it is much more efficient for them to run. People rarely see these birds yet when they do they sure do see a beautiful streak of color.
